It has been a while!!

Hello to those of my readers who still check in! It has been a while since I've posted. It has been a very busy year with the two girls and a growing business. I am still working with a full schedule and plan to continue. I really love what I do and I don't plan to slow down. I just don't have as much free time to post here on my blog as I did in the past.

I was finally able to photograph some of my work from the past 6-8 months and I will try to get that posted over the weeks to come.

I also am now offering, at a limited basis, printing of any of my designs to metallic stock. I am very excited to offer this to my clients. I never was able to in the past. So, if you want metallic stock for any of my designs we definitely can do so.

This past August, JDS celebrated it's third year in business. As I enter my fourth year, my goal is to continue to provide my clients with a one on one experience throughout the design process and to make the experience as stressfree and smooth as possible while providing my clients with the best quality product(s) I can.

Paddle Fan Programs

I have received many requests for paddle programs, but I was always intimidated by the idea of trying to make one, so I always turned brides away. I had worked with this client for at least 7 months now, on many different pieces for her daughter's wedding, so when she came to me with the request, I thought to give it a shot. I did some research to see how they go together and I did a mock up. I was pleased, so we set the order and got started. I am so very pleased with the finished product that I have added it to my Etsy Shop and am now offering it as part of my collection. Here we kept it simple with just a monogram on the front and the wedding party on the back but I can make these with really anything on the front and back. We kept the colors and motif the same as the other pieces I've created for this wedding. I think they really turned out to be beautiful and they will serve double duty to her guests as they can keep cool on the beach at the resort they are getting married at.

Seating Chart

Michelle and Jim are having an old fashioned circus themed wedding. They wanted a seating chart that had a similar style to their wedding invitation. This was a really fun, unique project to work on!
